Coastal Beats has answered the call from the younger members of the community wanting somewhere to go with their friends & other underage teens, to be entertained, have fun & listen & dance the night away, all within a safe environment. Parents acknowledge the effort Coastal Beats goes to make this happen & Coastal Beats have always made it their #1 priority to provide quality events for local youth & proudly approach their 7th year, with nearly 50 events behind them, held in the Shoalhaven, Eurobodalla & Bega areas. They are the only event organisation on the South Coast that puts on regular large scale music events for the Underage youth.

Coastal Beats has all the dedication, skills & expertise to make it happen & will do its best, to keep the events running. The local youth can help too, buying their "pre-sale" tickets early, passing the word around to their friends & their friends' friend's, as soon as the next event date is announced. We need the youth to keep up to date with the website & help spread the word about because advertising the events via media is out of the question, cost-wise for us, we not only need to meet the huge cost of putting in place the Conditions of Entry that are required, but we also want to put the proceeds of previous events towards hiring great acts. We must rely on our website to promote our events, with past events pics uploaded regularly on the Photo Gallery . So keep checking the website regularly for updates, be sure to pass on the link to everyone you know & feel free to ask us questions here or if you have any suggestions, requests or want to see something different, tell us!

Coastal Beats go to great lengths planning & organising the Underage Dance Events  for the South Coast youth. They have successfully worked towards having the right formula to ensure events are well run & well organised. To make the events enjoyable for all it is important in the weeks leading up to an event, there is plenty of interaction, feedback & enough Pre-Sale tickets to give the organisers a good indication of the demand for events to continue. It is then that the organisers can commence finalising booking the venue, staff & transport etc. so the event runs smoothly. Venues that have successful events with good attendance numbers will enable the organisers to better budget for future events. Past event successes has eventuated in booking bigger named artists. Some of who that have performed on stage include The Aston Shuffle, Timmy Trumpet, MC Losty, Suae, Archie, Two Faced DJ's & Jimmy Z to name a few. To attend events with similar big-name artist line-ups you can expect to pay anywhere from $50-$100 a ticket, Coastal Beats Underage ticket prices may vary between $20-25 depending on venue location/governing authorities regulations, which allow the events to be affordable to the attending youth. If and when Coastal Beats are able to book/secure a big name artist, to ensure the artist performs to a capacity crowd, Coastal Beats agree to advertise the event in the months leading up to their appearance. In kind, Coastal Beats expects the booked artist to perform at the event, if the booked/advertised artist is rescheduled or does not perform at a particular event, Coastal Beats do not redeem or issue any refunds, as the tickets sold cover the event costs regardless of the booked performer.

The events are Security Supervised, with a designated Cool-Off area with First Aid Staff on hand. The organisers put in place specific Risk Management Strategies to ensure they meet the required criteria of the various governing authorities. Breathalysers are used, to assist in the Security Ingress/Egress Inspections carried out at the events to ensure all patrons abide by the Conditions of Entry. They may also be used on attendees showing any signs of possible substance abuse or intoxication. Breathalyser units are regularly maintained and callibrated as per manufacturer guidelines, the units do not test blood alcohol concentration (BAC), they only estimate BAC readings indirectly, therefore they may be inaccurate and are used purely as a checking device at the events to assist the Organisers in maintaining Zero Tolerance at Point of Entry to Underaged Events.
